whether you have a date tonight or someone to get it on with or not...
whether i have romance in my life or not...
i'm always grateful that Love still exists out there.
i see it,
in an older couple holding hands,
in young lovers,
smiling at eachother from across the room...
it's a good thing.
and it amazes me,
seeing as though ALL of us,
every last one,
goes through some fairly hardcore emotional experiences regarding Love, and passion, and making ourselves vulnerable to the world around us... that for Love to still exist seems like a terribly powerful miracle.
and it really is, i believe, one of the greatest experiences we have the opportunity to have in this Life thing.
so, spend the afternoon alone,
or spend it with someone you dig..
meet someone new and make out for the hell of it.
just remember that no matter how much anyone hates valentine's day,
its the one day a year that the world screams out for Love.
which is RocknRoll in my humble opinion.

that area will be much less crowded than anywhere else in this city
but i gotta say, a better idea is to just make something,
even some quality sandwiches,
put a meal and some wine in a basket,
take her up to mulholland and laurel canyon,
or to sunset beach or something...
do something a bit more unique,
thats just meant to be a moment for you and her.
make a fuckin memory.
